Shona Gill was ten years old when she sadly lost her battle against cancer.
Shona was diagnosed in 2002 with a Rhabdomyosarcoma. Despite going through torturous amounts of chemotherapy Shona never gave up, she was always bright and cheerful and always had a smile on her face.
Shona went through Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, major surgery (three times) numerous tests and scans, she had to have canulas each time and nasal gastric tubes on more than four occasions. Shona never complained, she took all of this in her stride.
Despite all of this treatment Shona was positive and had an eagerness to help others. Shona always thought of others before herself, being very keen to make sure that others were always taken care of first before she would even consider her circumstances.
